Phoneme Awareness

This product is great for small group, whole group, and individual practice of recognizing phonemes, blends, digraphs, and syllables. The handwriting lines on the bottom allow the students to write their word in either print or cursive. Then they break the word apart into phonemes and blends by using the squares near the top. Finally, they can either point on the circles with their finger, or use manipulatives, every time they hear a new sound. The same strategy works for learning syllables!
