This is an Interactive power point presentation that includes one slide that gives information about the main computer parts when the user moves his mouse over the computer part. The information appears as a screen Tip.
The user also has the option to try a quiz of about 20 multiple choice questions, where the student clicks on the correct computer part name.

Place value with popsticks - Scratch game
This Scratch game generates a random number of popsticks between 1 and 100. (Bundles of 10 a single sticks).
Students press SPACE and then count the number of popsticks. When prompted, students enter their answer. They receive instant feedback with a message and sound on whether they are successful or they should try again.
This is also a great activity to teach older students how to write computer code and give them an idea of the sequencing of instructions.
