Christmas Math Budget Activity

Christmas is weeks away, and there has been a terrible disaster! Students are given $10,000 to buy presents for the children of a small town and save Christmas, but they must plan it out, and must not overspend! Students must use problem solving, multiplication with money, a data table, and estimation to complete this activity. Students are required to describe how they chose to approach the problem, as well as make a collage of the items they bought, accompanied by their prices. Great fun!
