Butterfly Cyber Hunt
I created this so that students have a guideline for researching on the internet. When given free range, they struggled to come up with a topic or know where to look. I created this chart for them to document what they know and what to learn, as well as 'starter topics' for them to research. Once they've found things that interest them, they write them on the topic sides and document their research.

A to Z writing task cards
Great independent writing practice. There are 28 cards - one for each letter of the alphabet and 2 "Free Write" cards. Each task card gives the student as specific thing to write about.
I use them in my 6th grade resource room. The students love them! They are a great independent task. They give you a lot of data about how the student is writing. The topics are fun for the students to write about.

Ask me badges are for those students that can be designated as teacher helpers so that you can be free to help others that require your help and assistance.
