Operations & Algebraic Thinking Common Core 4th Grade 4.OA.1 & 2
Students learn how to write equations with variables for story problems while interacting with a Smartboard Lesson. During the lesson they have the opportunity to create a graphic organizer and practice writing equations on whiteboards. I have included a follow-up printable practice to use as homework, independent practice, or a formative assessment.
I have also included a math center activity for use in small groups after the lesson. The math center also includes a printable practice.
