Counting Watermelon Seeds!!Add some fun to counting practice with these fun watermelon numbers! Students count the seeds inside each number. Then they use "dry black beans" to add that many "seeds" to the watermelon slice to count again. Then, they find the number on their recording sheet and color in the seeds while they count again. Each number has that many seeds inside the number. So the five has five seeds, the nine has nine seeds, and so on. Three counting opportunities for every number!!
