My students enjoyed sliding their fingers from the coin to the end of the ribbon or string while counting the number of attachments to the coin which in turn, helped them learn the value of different coins. These addition problem cards allow for self-correction in that the answer to the addition problem on the card is on the next card, needing kids to come up with the correct answer. The last card has a finish sign, letting know kids when they have completed the work. Kids may use tools to complete the problems as necessary. Simply print on cardstock, laminate, cut, and allow for kids to play the Snake Card Game to assist with operations.
