I used this to help my students understand how to complete the steps of the standard algorithm correctly as well as trying to get them to understand the importance of place value and organizing their work neatly.

Steps - Notes - Example of Long Division Using the Standard Algorithm
This is a step-by-step example that I wrote for a student, that included notes so they could reference it independently, of how to do long division using the standard algorithm. This example doesn't have a reminder. This is not a fancy or pretty resource, it was hand written online, but maybe it will help one of your students. :) You may also need to test out the size if printing.
