Valentines Day Activities for 3rd and 4th Graders Fraction and Measurement
This is the ultimate Valentine's Day engaging activity that combines creativity with math problem solving! It's one of those activities where you can walk around the classroom smiling because your kids are so into it. Students are designing a candy store using fractions or measurement skills. You could even combine both! Part 1- Build a candy store, using simple materials. I gave my students construction paper, cut up snack boxes, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, and a few random beads I found.

Montessori Fraction Cut Outs
DIY paper version of Montessori Fraction metal insets. Each circle has 10cm diameter, same as the metal insets. Fraction circles from 1, 1/2, to 1/12. Print PDF on 8.5x11 card stock, then laminate.
