This is the ultimate Valentine's Day engaging activity that combines creativity with math problem solving! It's one of those activities where you can walk around the classroom smiling because your kids are so into it. Students are designing a candy store using fractions or measurement skills. You could even combine both! Part 1- Build a candy store, using simple materials. I gave my students construction paper, cut up snack boxes, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, and a few random beads I found.
