Montessori 10 More 10 Less Bead Game
In my grades 1-3 Montessori classroom, I always struggled to teach 1.NBT.5 to my first graders in a way that was appropriate to their executive functioning skills. The task cards I tried out never really seemed to do the trick. I designed this game to engage my students to practice adding and subtracting 10. My students ended up loving it! To prepare the game, print the number cards and the 10 more/10 less cards on two different colors of paper to easily separate the cards. Students will draw a
