Still looking for more activities and extensions for those pesky GATE verbal kids in your classroom? Give this one a try!

This is a research activity I created for my Gifted students. The activity is designed to be independent research. They must research the SOUTHWEST TRIBES, find 10 vocabulary words related to the SOUTHWEST TRIBES and create three products about the SOUTHWEST TRIBES. I have FREE sample of the research activity on WORMS. I have over 60 topics like these. I put them in a pocket folder and the students chose a topic they were interested in knowing more about.
I have used this sign in form in addition to whatever the school offers so I can have the information for grading and CUM's. I added the section for a t-shirt since we try to give shirts as incentives whenever possible, but feel free to "tweak" it as you see fit.
Enjoy and welcome back to school! -
