Freeze Dance Alphabet/Days/Months - Gangnam Style
This fun video features an instrumental version of "Gangnam Style" with built-in "FREEZE" breaks! It is a dance party until you are told to "FREEZE"! You better hold that pose while you review letter names or sounds. My kids say the SOUND each letter makes as the letters appear. You could also have them say the letter name. In this lesson explore the definition of FORM for little ones! Extra material needed: a parachute OR scarves (of you do not have the room space). EXTRA=The JACKSON 5 slide is my daily movement procedure. Student come in stand in a line or circle, wait for the music, put beat in their feet. Then we continue to use body percussion for the rest of the song. GREAT WAY to get them moving and grooving right away! Perfect and adaptable for K-3.
