I Use My Device to Talk! AAC Social Story for Behavior
"I Use My Device to Talk!" is an interactive AAC social story to help students learn that their AAC device is for talking, not for throwing. The story focuses on using the AAC device for functional communication in order to decrease problem behavior and increase engagement. Parent Handouts: Toys to Increase Speech & Language Skills
As Black Friday nears and shopping lists are made, SLPs have the the opportunity to recommend great toys to increase speech and language skills. I wanted to make some handouts to send home with my students this month. I made two different handouts. One handout is for toddlers and one handout is for preschoolers.
