I happen to teach a science class in my preschool classroom this school year. Each Thursday afternoon, I prepared and presented a science experiment that could be easily done with ordinary household items. Beside one experiment that calls for dry ice, you can find what you need for these experiments in any typical kitchen. This FREEBIE is a great Earth Day activity to talk about ways we care for the Earth. Students can color and cut out the cover layer, then draw and/or write about six different ways they can care for the Earth such as recycling, turning off lights, picking up trash, etc. Then cut out and put that wheel below the cover and poke a brad through the center hole so they can spin the wheel and talk about each of the 6 ways to care for Earth.
