Using the Guided Language Acquisition Design strategy, Expert Groups, I have written 10 pages of informational text. There are 5 different content areas that are present in the informational text for the teacher to guide the students in reading / annotating in a small group setting. This can take 20-35 minutes depending on the skills and needs of the students. To complete the notes, I may recommend complete these in 2 sessions of 20 minutes each.
