Art Grading Rubric - Middle and High School
I developed this art grading rubric for middle and high school art projects. It allows student artwork to be evaluated in 5 areas - Elements of Art, Principals of Design, Creativity/Problem Solving, Craftsmanship, and Effort. The teacher can fill in specifically which Element(s) of Art, Principal(s) of Design, etc., that the project focuses on. The student can evaluate himself/herself and turn in this grading sheet with his/her project. Students self-evaluate in each of the 5 areas, and answer

Visual Art Rubric
This rubric is very generic so that it can be used with any unit or lesson. It is based on a 5-1 point system in three cateregories, craftsmanship, creativity/origniality, and participation. Each point in all of the cateregories has a detailed explination of the expectations for the assignment.
