This is a sheet I use when students grab a laptop from our laptop cart. They must write their name, laptop number, and if anything is wrong with it (i.e. can't connect to the internet or a key is missing). When students put the laptop back, they must check off (or initial) that they plugged the laptop back in. This is a FREE pdf that you may use and/or distribute to your school staff to use.

I plan to give it back to them at the end of the year so that they can see how they have grown and changed over the last 10 months. I love using these sheets during Reading and Writing Workshop as well as in my Daily 3 Math Centers. I use these recording sheets for two reasons: to give kids a bit of accountability while using apps and to strengthen the home/school connection. Families can easily see what their children did in school and can discuss with them.
