I love using these activities as part of my whole group and tiered intervention reading time. This products has activities that reviews the short vowel cvc words. Each student gets a spooky fun word mat. (laminate them or put them in sheet protectors) Give each student a dry erase marker and a mat. Give the students cvc word to map out on the circles & then rewrite the whole word blended on the dotted lines. Repeat the process with the short vowel word lists listed on the cover page of the acti
