It has been especially helpful to me during problem of the day and has led to many animated classroom discussions. It holds students accountable for their work and makes sure they show commitment to quality. It has also been helpful to me when grading, as it can be subjective at times.

Participation Rubric
This participation rubric is meant to be used as a weekly grade in any class. The grading is 5, 4, and 3.5 and so a student will never receive a score lower than a passing grade. The classroom teacher may choose to give in-between grades such as 4.25 or 4.75.
