Used for classrooms with risers, or just chairs. Organized into colors, print in black and white if you do not want them organized into colors. Boxes used for attendance and participation points. Center box used for notes, key, and evaluations.

Basic Seating Chart for Music Classroom
A basic seating chart for a large chorus classroom. Includes 42 chairs in four rows with a place to label a desk or podium, and a box with information on the class. Each box is a text box, but there is a regular old square underneath each (I started with the squares and added text later), so if you move the text box you may expose the squares. They can be deleted though, I just left them for spacing purposes.

Music incentive charts
I wanted incentive charts for grades 1-3 that didn't cost an arm & a leg! (I have aprox 300+ in grades 1-3!) so, I made my own, music themed, of course! Print out and copy as many times as you need, 4 per page, so save paper as well. I keep them on my cart in a square container clipped together with an index card with teacher's name on each group. I pass out at the beginning of each class.

This is a seating chart that can also be used to take a weekly content grade, behavior grade or even just attendance. It is organized into 9 weeks. You can specify the skill that was tested for each of the nine weeks, or even use the key to make a grading code that corresponds to certain behaviors. This is also useful for Art or any other subject where there would be a weekly grade.

French Horn Transposition Chart Index Card Template
This Transposition Chart for French Horn Players is great for easy access when working with a tuner. You will use a 3x5 Index Card (I personally use fun bright colors and "doubled sided" for it to be easier to find) and a regular computer printer. This fun design of a chart can be hole punched and put into a binder, clipped to stand or lanyard, or even laminated and placed where the tuners are located in your classroom. This seating chart template can be used for square style seating, It has spaces by each child's name space to make marks, such as checks or pluses, to make quick notes during class about progress, behavior, etc. This is also very useful for your substitute teacher folder. The space in the middle is perfect for notes about your class, such as special concerns, accommodations/modifications, and so on. It is a very effective teaching tool.

Secret Student - Classroom Management Strategy
At the start of each day, the teacher selects a secret student or students by giving them the 'secret student card'. The secret student's mission is to display positive, correct behaviour throughout the day. The trick is that no-one knows who the 'secret student' is. Throughout the day the teacher can say statements such as 'I love the way the secret student is sitting up nice and straight' which will then prompt the rest of the class to copy. I use this chart for class behavior. Each class gets one chart and at the end of the period I determine how many stickers they earned (1-3). Once they earn 20 stickers the class gets a prize. The students like seeing their progress (I have the charts taped on my cabinets) throughout the year!

Question: what's different about this practice chart from others? Answer: Third column is empty on the other file, so you can decide what you place there. This chart asks for student initials.
