Open House Board Display

Open House Slide! I often project a slide on the board during open house to help navigate parents about steps/items they should complete while they are there! See page 2 for some examples of items I put on the slide for families!

Student Information

Getting to know your students at the beginning of the year is so important for bridging those relationships with both them and their families. Each year at open house, I send this form home in my students' folders. It really helps me learn more about my students, their families, and opens the lines for communication with families! Fun with shapes and playdoh

This is a fun activity to do with small children. With the playdoh, they have to make the shape and place it inside the shape. This promotes and increases fine motor skills and manipulation. If you feel the playdoh is too easy or simply want to change the activity, allow the child to make a shape within the lines of the shape, without any deviation. This activity also promotes visual motor integration, which in the long run helps with their handwriting skills. Materials: Crayons and Playdoh
