A scientific and personal discovery in Mexico, I spent three years searching in the mountains of Mexico before finally coming upon millions of butterflies 10,000 feet above sea level on Cerro Pelon on the border of the States of Mexico and Michoacan, and Cuernavaca just for the joy of life. I decided to bring a little bit of my passion to my students in the USA by writing this nonfiction article.
