Thanks for your interest in my beginning of the year paper. It’s a great way to get the know my students’ interests and I subtly throw in a random math question here or there. I like to know what my students are passionate about outside of school or try to discover their own strengths and interests.

With a change in students' post-high school priorities in deciding which school to attend (whether going into debt is worth that path), students are choosing the less costly routes. Vocational schools are offering students a way to get trained at a manageable cost and acquire a position that offers a living wage. The work under this topic provides trade instructors with material to help guide these vocational students to a level of proficiency that makes them more desirable potential employees.
