Mitosis/Meiosis I/Meiosis II Comparison Anchor Chart

iTEACHBio
This is one of many anchor charts for Biology. These have completely changed the way I teach and condensed the material to allow for more hands on activities, small group learning, collaborative learning, and independent practice during class time. This activity does not include an answer key because each teacher will use this in different ways and possibly use different wording in the classroom.

Editable Flexible Seating Charts

Super cute seating chart that can be used to visibly randomize groups, track attendance, and can be used for contact tracing. I like to use a variety of methods to randomize students into groups as they enter the room but I needed to track where each student sits every day. Now the students can track it for me! Students will also be taking their own attendance! At the end of each day I will "save as" with the date attached. These files have come in handy for contact tracing during the pandemic.

This is a digital version of the widely used behavior clip chart. I was tired of all the stuff on my walls and wanted more wall space for academic use. So I created this digital one that I pull up on my Promethean Board. The names and words on the chart can be edited. For the names just change the ones that are there and copy to create new ones. To change the words on the chart simply un-group the shape and the text to edit. If you have any questions just ask!

Introduction to a new unit- Students are introduced to a new phenomenon and asked to generate a series of questions (QFT strategy) about the new topic. They can list as many questions as they want in the box OR do this portion of the QFT on notebook paper, whiteboard, or use chalk markers on their lab benches. Once the group narrows down their top questions, those can be typed
