Solving Systems of Linear Equations with the Help of Free Technology
We present here three excellent free computer applications (GeoGebra, Eigenmath, and a BASIC interpreter) that can be used for mathematical activities. Because students are able to download and install the software at home they can get a better sense of ownership of the math tools provided. The three programs described complement each other, as exemplified by the following discussion about systems of linear equations.

This colorful chart is a non-editable pdf file. It includes 2 columns - one for reading and one for math. Under each, there are columns for each day of the school week. It also includes rows that can be personalized for your student names. After laminating for reuse, students check their name off or write down their score under the appropriate heading and day of the week.
