Do you teach math workshop in your classroom? There are times that whole group math works and there are times that it does NOT work with students. I have found that certain topics in math have a much larger variety of math abilities, which means that I need to split my students into ability-based groups. I use guided math lessons to make sure I'm catering my lessons to 5-6 students at a time. In order to manage these small group math lessons, I use this EDITABLE template to plan my lessons.
