Hall Pass

I am a BIG fan of making random things like hall passes as simple as possible so that I can focus on teaching. I print a bunch of these at the beginning of each semester and use them any time a student needs to leave my room (WAY better than having that red plastic thing travel to the bathroom and pack - yuck!). I like having this template more than writing post-it notes because it a) takes a third of the time and b) is more official. I hope it makes your life easier, too! Laura

Time Management Teacher Help Page

As teachers, we’ve all gotten to school and had a 1,000 things to do before the bell rings. I found myself writing reminder notes to myself on the corner of my calendar, on the back of old worksheets, or on random pieces of scratch paper. Of course I felt all over the place! So I decided to create a “Things I need to do tomorrow” page I fill out before I go to bed so I have a game plan for my prep time in the morning. Plus, I love crossing things off my list. It makes me feel like I am making a

Data input. It's what we do. A LOT. Usually while we're doing other things like managing a class and eating lunch or multi-tasking during a prep. Transferring assignments from Google Classroom to the online grade book is never-ending! Entering quiz and test scores is also a daily task. Correcting miskeyed or mismarked assignment grades ( "You forgot that I was sick," "I have an IEP," "I re-did the assignment," etc ) happens.Attendance--came in late, left early, absent, etc--is another tedious

Quick Student Check-Off List- Classroom Management- Forms

This is a spreadsheet that I created to be able to quickly check students off for random things. I, myself, mainly used it for when we were going on field trips and needed permission slips returned signed. I could quickly check off the students who returned theirs and see who is missing. I would paperclip all the returned ones to the back of the check off, so this would keep me more organized. It has multiple columns, if you needed to keep track of more than one thing for each student. For exa

Small Group Anecdotal Notes Templates | Guided Reading Templates | Small Group

Are your small group meetings feeling a little chaotic? Does your organizational system consist of writing notes on random sheets of loose leaf paper? If that sounds like you, there's no judgment. I've been there. I also know what it's like to have smooth-running small group meetings - meetings where I had an organized binder with dividers to separate my groups, a small group template for each of my groups, space to keep my anecdotal notes for my students, and sections to place my text titles a
