This is a great activity for students to practice measuring rectangles with a ruler/yard stick while also calculating the area and perimeter. Activity Instructions: Tape out 8 different sized rectangles on the floor in the hallway.Have students practice measuring the length and width of each rectangle and write their calculations on the recording sheet.Then have students calculate the area and perimeter of each rectangle.
