Lesson presentation to help upper elementary students learn the writing process and write a personal narrative, based on the HMH Into Reading Grade 4 curriculum. For Prewriting Activity 3, I brought in a butter knife, a napkin, a tub of peanut butter, and two slices of bread. I had a student guide me on making a peanut butter sandwich, and if they did not describe it in DETAIL, I made intentional mistakes (eg.
