I’ve spent years trying to get my students to care about the difference between a serf and a lord. Most of the time, we draw a pyramid in their notebooks, they memorize the ranks for a Friday quiz, and they’ve forgotten it by Monday. Feudal Flakes is how I fixed that. Instead of another worksheet, students take on the role of a Lord, Lady, Knight, or Peasant.
