Students will bring in a piece of candy (seeing as it was just halloween for us) or you can offer them a small selection that you purchase. They will then record the measurements of the wrapper and scale the wrapper to a "larger than life" piece of candy. They get a chance to be creative, create equivalence, and identify the percent increase in size of their work.
