Fashion & Sustainability Choice Board Project
Discuss and encourage sustainability in the fashion industry. This choice board encourages students to dig deeper and get creative and how we can increase sustainability in the world of fashion. This is a perfect activity for a fashion, sewing & /or textiles class to take on around Earth Day! But, if that timing doesn't work out, it's still a relevant and important topic any time of the year.

This mini-unit on the film "A Christmas Carol" (the one with Patrick Stewart) comes complete with an anticipation guide about Kwanzaa, viewing guides, homework assignments, a summary quiz, and a final project.

Students in our Flexibility and Strength Elective sign up and are responsible for a warm up project of their choice and are assessed in the following areas. See project ideas to follow. These projects are kept up, and rather than jump roping and using various cardiovascular machines, students choose the "warm up" of their choose for that class period. Students are encouraged to explore various warm ups and or, are given the opportunity to recreate them.
