Teaching self-awareness ties in with self-efficacy. Students that need extra guidance and understanding how the connection of their behavior and choices affects others around them may need direct instruction. Students that struggle with seeing themselves honestly also struggle with self awareness with others. This flow chart will help students to take accountability of their behavior, word choices and also encourage them to be proactive in solving conflict with others.

This reader's theater was written for 4 students. It was written for students who are on a 1st grade reading level. In the script, the class is getting a pet. Nan, Pat, Bill, and Jon are trying to guess what the pet will be. They discuss problems that different animals may cause and decide that the class pet should be a fish.
