ESL Skit: "The Quiz" (School Unit)
This is a skit that can be done with intermediate ESL students. I have also used it with beginners when they had higher level students to help them. It ties in core academic vocabulary from their ELA classes such as "plot" and "theme." And of course there's a moral to the story, so you can talk to your students about that as well!! The Gobble Gobble Ghost - Small Group Readers' Theater
We are moving our site, Wonbyone, to Wonbyone2. Please pardon our dust!This small group reader's theater is for three students. In the scrip there is a former turkey, turned ghost, who can't seem to scare anyone. A boy and girl come along to help out so everyone can have a happy Halloween. My scripts are written in black and white except the occasional picture on front to make it easier and cheaper to print and make copies. Chrysanthemum Post Its Visual Aids and Words READ ALOUD INTERACTIVE READING
Interactive read aloud are a great way to increase students vocabulary and comprehension. This is a joke the Navajo enjoy telling each other. It takes place in the 1960’s when NASA was preparing to send men to the moon for the first time and took them out to the Navajo Reservation because the terrain was similar in appearance to the moon’s. The Volcan & the Volcano - Small Group Reader's Theater
This is a Small Group Reader's Theater. It is for 4 students, boys or girls. I use them to help with fluency but I also use them to introduce other topics at times. The Jolly Post Man Interactive Read Aloud Plan
