This script was written for 3 students and for Halloween - although it could be used anytime to entertain. It is based on the true story of a chicken that survived having it's head cut off. In the 40’s there was a chicken who really did have its head cut off by a farmer and yet it survived. This is that story. Ecoman Teaches Water Conservation - Small Group Readers' Theater

This is a small group reader's theater is for 4 - 5 students. In the script - Students are hanging out and wasting some water; not intentionally - they just aren’t thinking about it. Ecoman arrives and explains what water conservation is. He/She tells the students that even kids can and should help save water. They discuss several easy ways water can be saved by kids. When Ecoman leaves the students are ready to become heroes for the environment! There is a writing assignment for the students
