This Lesson plan is to help teach how to measure with a ruler as well as why measurement is important and what we might use it for. There is a written up lesson plan with objectives, anticipatory set, informing learners, etc. There is also a worksheet that goes along with the lesson plan. I taught this in a fourth grade class. It goes along with an investigation in Saxon math.
