This is a small group reader's theater for 4 students. It is a Greek legend about how trouble came into the world via Pandora's Box. In the script, Zeus is angry with Prometheus and Epimetheus because they gave man fire. He chains Prometheus to a rock and then makes a plan to punish Epimetheus as well. This is a small group reader's theater is for 4 students but could be stretched to 6. It is based on a tale about Brer Rabbit. Brer Rabbit tales are a great way to teach students about a piece of African American history! After performing the script the writing assignment for students is to decide if Brer Rabbit is a good guy. In the script, Brer Fox plants a peanut patch and the plants grow tall and strong. This social story was created to teach these individuals the seriousness of what happens should they become physical with an officer.
