This Reader's Theatre covers the history of the famous battle at the Alamo in Texas. There are 14 characters including five Narrators, Santa Anna,Davie Crockett, Sam Houston, and Stephen Austin. This fits perfectly with a study of the Southwest Region of the United States and works with 4th-6th grade students. With smaller classrooms, parts can be combined to fit your needs. This is an interactive Microsoft Power Point Slide Show with a Super Hero Theme. I have used it for Super Hero Field Days in PE. You can display the slide show on a large wall and students stand in front of the screen so that their shadow is put on to the screen. They then dodge, duck, and jump away from objects flying into the screen. My students have loved using this and always ask for a new one.
