This is the pre-reading activity described in my TikTok and Instagram video from August 25 (over 2 million views on TikTok as of this posting on Aug 27) Please watch it for a thorough explanation of the activity. Basically, it is a way to increase students' interest in the novel The Things They Carried before the reading and analysis begin.
