Exploring Interest
Even when students can correctly calculate interest, I find they often don't quite understand what it is or how it is used in real life. This webquest has students investigate interest rates for different scenarios they will encounter in the future (car loans/student loans/savings accounts/etc.).
I use this to introduce the concept of interest and pair it with the BrainPop credit card and interest videos, quizzes, and activities using my school's subscription.

Students can work at their own pace on this "playlist" that will help master the objectives from 7.NS.2.
I share this list with students on google drive. They click on the links and complete a playlist binder where they make flashcards, take notes and complete lessons!
I give students a playlist at their level using their RIT (paired with their target strand on the NWEA) and pull small groups as my students work independently or in small groups on their playlists!
