CONCEPT FORMATION
CONCEPT FORMATION is not a lesson unto itself. It is a method of teaching that can be infused into many already set lesson plans. It is a mental process that involves organizing information into categories and using that knowledge to solve problems, reason and plan. Most frequently, I used concept formation by starting with a YES and NO chart and giving students examples of each.
