Valentine's Day Poetry Collection with Poems of Love and Obsession
This collection consists of: "Annabel Lee," "I Am Offering This Poem," "Shoulders," and "When Giving Is All We Have." Each poem contains higher-level thinking questions which require students to identify the strategies an author uses to convey his message. Some of the poems also include a chart asking students to read quotes and identify the literary device which was used and the author's purpose for it. Answer keys are provided for all activities.
