Using the free throw statistics from the 2012-2013 seasons, I created a chart of the averages from the WNBA and NBA. As a group students will have a free throw session and record their number of attempts and successful free throws. I will give my students 10 to 20 minutes to complete their free throws. I would suggest not to have the students all complete the same number of free throws since it will make it extremely easy to compare the fraction of successful free throws to the number of atte

It also shows students that each place in a number has a decimal value and a fraction value. i have included a complete chart with a chart that students fill-in with hints throughout the chart.
