The Gobble Gobble Ghost - Small Group Readers' Theater
We are moving our site, Wonbyone, to Wonbyone2. Please pardon our dust!This small group reader's theater is for three students. In the scrip there is a former turkey, turned ghost, who can't seem to scare anyone. A boy and girl come along to help out so everyone can have a happy Halloween. My scripts are written in black and white except the occasional picture on front to make it easier and cheaper to print and make copies. My students enjoyed using this script to increase their fluency. I hope

The Turtle, the Hare, and the Writing Contest - Small Group Readers' Theater
This Reader's Theater is for three students. We use it in class around Easter but it could be used anytime! It is a twisted version of the Tortoise and the Hare. The moral of the script is that it takes more than writing a lot and writing fast to make a good paper. As you can guess, my students were the inspiration for this one. The Headless Chicken - A True Story - HISTORICAL Small Group Readers' Theater
This script was written for 3 students and for Halloween - although it could be used anytime to entertain. It is based on the true story of a chicken that survived having it's head cut off. In the 40’s there was a chicken who really did have its head cut off by a farmer and yet it survived. This is that story. The True Story of the Headless Horseman - Small Group Readers' Theater

Casey at the Bat - Small Group Rhyming Readers Theater by Ernest Lawrence Thayer
This Reader's Theater is for four students. This is the ballad of Casey at the Bat and was written by Ernest Lawrence Thayer in 1888. I have not changed the words. I spaced it for the students and broke it into parts. The words that rhyme are in bold to help the students know which words to emphasize.
