Alan Menken: Musician Lesson
This lesson discusses the life and career of Alan Menken. When I taught it, I would pair it with both the Music and Movies project as well as the Sound Affects in Movies lesson. These all combined to create a wonderful mini unit on Sounds and Music in Movies. Both the other Lessons/Projects mentioned can be found on my page. These were truly some of my favorites to teach and gave students the chance to create their own ideas. They were always proud to share their work at the end.
