Soulful Forest-Where is THAT?
The Soulful Forest is a mental health word picture for children to explore their emotions while giving a space inside their mind to explore. When my husband says, "Calm down" there is very little chance that I will follow that directive. In the same way when we direct kids to "calm down" there will be more success if there is a place they can envision where they are safe, they control it and they can inhabit that space anytime they want.

Accountable Independent Reading Page
This pairs nicely with EL Education or any other curriculum that needs students to have an accountable independent reading documented. The size of the boxes fit 3 x 3 sticky notes with a little extra room, so the kids can place sticky notes onto them independently! Copy Those Shadows!
Teach your toddler how to see light and shadow! It's as easy as cake; as easy as 1-2-3. Hence, these 3 cakes. Simple but effective, your child will have the chance to learn how to grasp directional light and shadow as they use either pencil or dry erase marker (best option!) to draw in a form shadow and cast shadow for each cake.
