Here is a template for the Montessori Candelabra presentation of decimal place value. This is great way to visually see the placement and connection of whole number values to decimals. Included is a blank version for students to colour code- according to the Montessori place value colour coding system for units, tens, and hundreds.

I use these graphic organizers when first introducing decimals. I make a double sided copy for each student and we place them in pocket charts. Students can use these scaffolded organizers when they work on their independent work and they love them! I also project them on the board and students love coming up to fill in parts of the organizer.
