This packet is an introduction to percentages. The first section focuses on understanding the concept of percentage while the second section introduces the three types of percentage problems: finding the part, the whole or the percent. Finally, there is extra practice as well as some challenging word problems. I find percentages very hard for middle schoolers and I think this packet helps them go at their own pace and also approach the topic of percentages in many different ways.
