Turtle Tracking with Coordinate Grids
This handout has been a quick and easy way for the students to get exposed to coordinate grids everyday. Along with the handout, I have created a powerpoint explaining the directions the turtle moves each day and how many spaces. It is a different student's job to move the turtle each day and inform the class of the coordinates of the turtle so they can fill in their tracking chart.

Getting Started with TurtleStitch!
My students love Turtle Stitch! This handout was created for my Middle School classes grades 6-8. It gives an overview of creating embroidery patterns in TurtleStitch.org which can later be exported to an embroidery machine. It includes a link to the video tutorial I created as well as some code samples to get started. It does not include a tutorial for exporting to an embroidery machine, but the code written in the tutorial is ready to export if you choose.

Teaching Time: Hour and Minute Hand
Students in first and second grade often confuse the hour hand and minute hand on an analog clock. This guide sheet will help show the students that the hour hand is short like a turtle and the minute hand is long like the ears on a rabbit. Fill in the text and digital time to match the analog clock on the sheet.
